WofV_Chapter 01: Cornelian's Cottage by artofMilica WofV_Chapter 01: Cornelian's Cottage by artofMilica
"Within the depths of Armalis Forest grows a cottage like no other."
                                                                                          -- Warriors of Virtue

This is the original ink illustration that will appear in my upcoming illustrated novel "Warriors of Virtue".  I still have a few commissions to get out of the way before I can concentrate on my work, but I intend to release most of the first novel as a series this year.  It all depends also on my editor, and the speed with which I can illustrate. :-D

Materials I have used: Acryilc Ink, Crow-quill dip pen, and Borden & Riley's Rag Drawing Paper

Original Paper Size: 14" x 11"

"Warriors of Virtue" will be released as a Kindle Book Series in the following editions:

- Text Only Time Limited Edition: This will be for those readers who are just looking to read the story. The moment the Illustrated Edition is published, this edition will become unavailable.
- Audio Podcast: This will be for those readers like me who have no time to read, but can listen to books as they work or do their chores.
- Illustrated Edition: Text and illustrations.
- Artist's Edition: This edition will be almost the same as the Illustrated Edition, except that I will provide the readers with a link to download all of the images from the book in full resolution.  It may also include a collection of my favourite sketches that never make it into the book.
- Ultimate Edition: Artist's Edition + Audio Podcast--basically you get everything there is to get. :-D

Great for a book cover. I was going to ask if you were going to color it but then you didn't do it digitally so I think that answers my question. ; p

So do you get to choose your race or how does that work exactly?

Yes. You have different colours. There are two armies for the evil side, and two for the good, I think. As far as I remember you can play just as you would a regular Risk game, but you can also add Frodo's journey with the ring.  I've only played the game once with my dad, since my sister and mom are not into complex board games. The game has a lot of rules, it takes a while to memorise and setup everything.  The one time we played it took us two hours to set it up, and then we played for a few days, before my mom lost it and told us she needed the dining table back. :-D Yup, it's pretty massive.

If you are planing to have another DA game night, I'd be happy to bring it over.
